It's kinda exhausting... I can't relate to why she's so insistent on being in a relationship...

Perhaps, if I read this back in high school, I'll enjoy it more??? I was in love with the feeling of being in love at that time, but now I just want to live in peace and have my time alone🤣

This specific page makes me feel slightly annoyed hahaha she's still healing from her recent break-up, and here she is, missed going on dates. She spends so much times with her close male friend that she starts to wonder if she likes him more than she should. From my point of view, it seems like she haven't yet reached the point of feeling content with being by herself.

'I had always succumbed to the mindset that I needed people to not feel lonely, but it has less to do with your own contentment. You can be surrounded by many people and still feel isolated. On the contrary, you will meet people in this world who are a lot more solitary than others, and yet their lives are a lot more fulfilled.'

Re-reading. It brought comfort to me 3 years back, revisiting that comfort again.

I knew all along this read is a much needed one for me in my current state. :)

Rereading this book. First read in 2018, a month prior to an unknowingly devastating episode. Easily one of my favourite books ever.
