Someone said that this book climaxes at the very end, I'm really starting to hope that's not true cause holy shit this book is so repetitive

I can understand why this protagonist acts the way he does and engages in sick things but at this point it feels like it's going way to far, there are better ways to insinuate how his already repulsive condition is getting worse. I genuinely don't know if I'll be able to finish this because it just feels wrong

It's not that this isn't intresting, but I already have critiques LOL

Interesting father/son relationship. Feels tumultuous! Definitely informed Ben’s view on the world. He falls into “affection” easily. I think it’s more of a “I want that girl because she’s pretty or because I know her”, which isn’t really great. Pretty sure that’s why he gets rejected all the time…!

Currently finished the sample. Ben is such an edgelord sigma male that it's hard to take him seriously in some lines. But that's probably the point, characterization is on point so far!

Better than Love lies dying. But then most books should be. Nevertheless this might be the last book in a long time I will read by this writer. The basic idea is interesting, but at this point it is just not gripping enough. He should speed things up. But I will probably finish it.
