Jennifer Lavoie is 30% done

I’m not sure how I feel about this book. I have loved everything this author has written so far, but this one just feels off. It’s moving at a pace that feels rushed and I don’t like that Roscoe, three chapters in, is telling Sawyer he rules/owns his body. Like I get it. You think he’s tour mate. But dude you just pushed him away.

read Kindle sample: weird prose--off putting in media res and boring explaining, and then, when we get to some intriguing interaction it quickly becomes oddly and unbelievably intimate, not physically so, but emotionally, what with their familiarity
