This is the second time now that John Henry has been so drunk that he left his partner vulnerable. This book is going to frustrate me because the author has great storylines that he just either forgets to talk about or follow through or just wants to normalize really fucking toxic behaviors as though they’re healthy

Why is the fact that John Henry was drunk when they were working in murder? I was so drunk that he was black out drunk that when his partner Emery needed back up, he had to do it on his own and then he got into an altercation that almost custom his life multiple times. Why is that not being addressed, why is that just being seen as though I’m using the wrong care for saving everyone’s life by turning off the gas.

Somers drugging Hazard is such a fucked up move. Somers keeps doing shitty things, and Hazard keeps being the one to apologize. And that’s me is just fucked up and problematic.
