Status Updates From [New Life+] Young Again in ...

Huh, I think this story is growing on me - definitely a pleasant surprise. The battle at the village was pretty good and the female characters are starting to be fleshed out beyond t&a. There's little bits of fanservice but it's not at the expense of everything else. I'm still annoyed that goblin rape was even a thing in this novel but thankfully it never actually came to be. The positives outweigh it in the end. :)

I'm reading this since I promised myself I would read all the JNC vol 1s if I bought a subscription and this one expires in a day or so! So far this isn't bad - I like that the main character is amusingly pedantic - but we'll have to see how it goes now that he's saved two pretty women.
