I really loved the first book, Junkyard Dog! This one is about Candy’s daughter, Cricket and her hero, Poet! The banter between these characters is not doing it for me. It just seems forced and not that funny! I will power on through as I want to see where it takes me.

This had me laughing the whole way through. This family would not be eveeybodies cup of tea. More like a shot of tequila. Cricket is just like her mother with a strong influence from Hayes.
