There is nothing happening here. Charlie had sold a car, eaten some vegan meals, been interrogated by his infatuations rude bestie and held his true loves hand and declared himself in love. I may have to quit this. Someone needs to die or do something remotely interesting because as a romance it’s not working and as dark fiction it’s not working either 🤨

Oh no, I love love but I don’t love insta-love and this is a classic case of it 😬

I peeked at the reviews trying to decide what I want to read next and many of these talk about a horror romance as if it were a bad thing but it’s one of my favorite things so here we are 🤷‍♀️

The story really kept me guessing at which direction is was going to take at the end. I will read more by this author
