There is nothing happening here. Charlie had sold a car, eaten some vegan meals, been interrogated by his infatuations rude bestie and held his true loves hand and declared himself in love. I may have to quit this. Someone needs to die or do something remotely interesting because as a romance it’s not working and as dark fiction it’s not working either 🤨

This fellow is setting himself up for some trouble.

I peeked at the reviews trying to decide what I want to read next and many of these talk about a horror romance as if it were a bad thing but it’s one of my favorite things so here we are 🤷‍♀️
