it warms my heart to know that PAMELA DES BARRES and gram were besties. i love pamela so much, she is such a wild woman free spirit. i REALLY need to read her book now. also flying burrito brothers is her favorite band of ALL TIME?!?!

unfortunately it’s that point in reading the book about the man who you idolize where you want to slap him across the face.

i think that jessica hundley must have been a little in love with gram because WOW this book is filled with poetry and romance. i was tearing up in the part where gram became a father and held little polly for the first time vowing to be a better dad than his stepfather. it hurts so bad because you already know how the story ends :(
