I enjoyed reading this and just went back thru it via Audible.com. I reccommend watching the videos still up on YT via Kevin Allocca's Videocracy playlist. It really helps to visualize and better understand how authentic video has been supposedly revolutionized by individuals and better and better hardware. At 58 years old much of what's on YT is entertaining, but certainly not elevating. Novelty will wane.

Really interesting read of the SUPER diverse range of YouTube videos and their respective creators. The interviews of said creators, Allocca's cheeky writing style, and the description of the numerous (sometimes strange) YouTube channels and the videos on them all make for a, well, good read. The author can be long-winded sometimes, though.
