It feels like the book was supposed to end pages ago and the ending is very drawn out. The twist was good tho

Plot has picked up but this feels like I’m being bounced all over the shop through it

I’ve had this book on the shelf for ages and it’s one of the ones I’ve decided to dig out and finally read. I can’t help feeling that turns of phrase specific to the book and its inhabitants and details necessary to really grasp the plot are being thrown at you unexplained until pages later…maybe I’m missing something? Not sure how I feel about this one tbh
