On page 10 we’re introduced to Sheriff Daryl Flynn. On page 11, “He parked his Broward County Sheriff’s car to the side….”
On page 13 we learn, “He was just the local sheriff, so the big shots at Broward would take over this case.”
Where to begin? Did he steal the car? No, no, he didn’t; anyone writing, copy editing, editing a book should know that sheriffs are from the county. Cops are local.
