I just can't connect with the superficial feel of the characters personalities. I love a slow burn, but it has to have some plot depth please! I love the concept and I do enjoy other books by G. Bailey, but this series just falls flat for me.

Hmm, this is very very similar to Lux series (which I did not finished yet, hopefully I will do it this year).
