Status Updates From Wild Temptation (Wild, #1)

I've made it to chapter 11 and I have a few problems with this.
There are complete sentences that are literally duplicated one after the other. Odd that an editor or beta reader didn't catch this. It happens numerous times.
The other problem I have is it is slow moving due to being too wordy.
The steamy scenes are steamy, but they have problems too.
Really needs a good editor.

While I am enjoying this one, it just isn't moving fast enough for my mood to keep me interested.
So once again I'm putting another book on the back burner. I will get back to it soon.

How many times will it be said that she must be on her period if she is simply uncomfortable or angry? Ugh.

What's with the constant mentioning of Candy Crush?

Is she paid to promote it? Ugh.

I am having a hard time trying to grasp how exactly trusting him will ensure her addiction to love (nice way to say she becomes unhealthily obsessed) does not spiral out of control.
They are having a no-strings-attached kind of relationship, yet neither act as it is that kind of a relationship. She is quite literally becoming obsessed. That is not healthy and he feeds her addiction. That could destroy her.
