Today is a national holiday in Germany so lots of time for reading...and this is turning out to be a fast read, rather cinematic, but not terribly "new" or different from other similar stories.

in this novel, Pope Francis died of heart failure. He was followed by Pope Pius XIII. We shall see what the Conclave really decides in the coming month!

German tech sci-fi thriller about a gene company that does gen-modified wheat and now has found a way to genetically alter people to live for hundreds of years.
Christian nutcakes are starting to become vigilantes and carry out both protests and assassinations on the "immortals". Good thriller writing, but a bit too Opus Dei atm.
