Status Updates From Omega Deep (Sam Reilly #12)

Congress is going to pay for a new, custom-built ship as a reward for saving the Omega. Book ended with Sam taken hostage in pentagon by a Master Builder confused to be there.

Tom's father was skipper of the Omega Deep when his XO betrayed him and tried to steal the sub. XO was blown up w/ enemy sub. They torpedoed Sam's boat, "Maria Helana", all crew jumped in water to safety. They came aboard Omega as XO tried again to take it. Master builders were bankrolling XO. XO got code from 1 of the 5 only people who have it. Tom's father, president, and 3 military generals.

Very long prologue about how the captain of a super stealth submarine is tricked into crashing his sub and getting boarded by enemies. My interest level is not there so much.
