What did he mean by, the residents question his office? Was his late wife a witch perhaps? Is he a wizard? I'm very curious as to what the hell he's about.

I feel like Hazel hiding the fact that she's a witch from the town and the sheriff is going to backfire like crazy. I mean, she's living in a town that hates witches and was there at the time of the death. It's not going to end well.

A decent set up to the storyline - good pace too, plus we already met a potential love interest in the first four chapters? Not too shabby.

Horrifying.
