Status Updates From Time for a Change

All I'm seeing is anxious attachment trying hard to compensate and make someone with avoidant attachment love him/not kick him out. Avoidant attachment person is accepting the extra effort and not reciprocating and continuing to avoid. It's uncomfortable

We've reached the point where his reluctance and both their avoidance (in their own ways) is not cute and is not enjoyably increasing the delicious tension in the story, but rather displaying uncomfortable immaturity

Dear English authors, please ask someone who speak French to correct any french expression you would like to use because there's almost always some mistake. I know "Maitre d' " looks and sounds fancy but that doesn't mean anything. Maybe try with "Maitre d'hôtel".
I know I'm rude but editing is supposed to exist for things like that.

I've liked everything I've read from this author so far. Hopefully, the streak will continue with this one :)

So I’m skimming sex scenes, which means too much sex not enough development.

Not liking the mc—he’s a bit of a selfish, repressed git, what with his push/pull of poor Sam.

M/M. I really like this author's writing style and stories. Interesting and simple. So far this one is no exception. An uptight, snooty accountant meets an ADHD waiter at a coffee shop.

Unfortunately I think I am finished with this, before I really begin.
Michael is such an epic asshole, I cannot cope with his behavior and I think I am giving up....

Sam feeling being used by Michael breaks my heart so, so much.

Damn, this book is adorable! I love grumpy Michael, and irritating Sam. The dialogs between them are so perfectly written!
