This is a lot of forced exposition. While this background is important, there should have been a more organic approach to delivering it.

For someone with her background, her lack of suspicions makes no sense. She should be on high alert around everyone, especially for such an obvious trap, but I'm supposed to believe she naively walked into this and thinks it's just a coincidence?

That's not my fault, though. It's sad she's related to a psychopath, but I didn't make him that way. Everyone is avoiding her because of him, not me or anything I said.
