Status Updates From Evolution Z: Stage One

I'm just skimming through at this rate. Lots of undead action, no explanation, no reference to the cause. I'm almost done and only just now have two of my characters finally crossed paths.

Hmm... so at this point, it's like this author wrote out the graphic stuff, then just filled in the transitions to get from one gory scene to the other. The 2 outbreaks I've read so far we're much better than the transitions, which is disappointing, since if the same care we're given to the transitional and introductory sections, this would be a fully compelling book.

Not really grabbing me so far. It reads kind of like a teenager's essay. The writing is a little choppy and stilted.

And what exactly is a 'munted' whack job?
