i’m already sobbing and i only just started it what the hell

we may not
be perfect.
but we are so,

the universe
deserves
to hear
your magic

live wildly.
fall willingly.
love softly.

we didn’t end up together,
but i am still glad we met.

it wasn’t until he walked
away when i realized
i needed to stop placing
my happiness in the
arms of others.
people leave,
and they often disappoint.
so i reached inside,
and pulled out everything
i’d always been expecting
to receive from the others.
i must find contentment
on my own.
it is the only way.

i’m still
learning
slowly
how to
let you
