Okay, so I dislike both the MCs. Tristan must have a magic dick or something. Either way, he’s a coercively manipulative, unsafe MMC. And Kyla? I’d say she’s as dumb as a box of rocks, but that would be insulting to the rocks.

The constant dessert references are weird. Is it relevant to the plot besides he smells sweet? I could do without the constant comparison to food.

This book is written in third person perspective and yet we’re constantly in this girl’s head. Excessive monologuing, even between the dialogue, which just keeps pulling me out of the story.

vampire romance, different storyline than I expected.. didn’t reallyyy like the mmc and the fmc could be annoying… the mmc just seemed very insecure and I get it, he’s alone, everyone’s out to get home, he doesn’t know who he could trust and not many people share the truth with him but ugh, he kept repeating that he was new to the whole having power thing like every chapter. it just felt annoying.
