Finished the equivalent of ch. 6 (12 sections in total). Just as before, the book is visually so stunning that makes it far from boring; the only regret is that it's meant to be super basic; wish the team would fully tackle a specific aspect then do the same thing!

Finished the equivalent of ch. 3 (6 sections in total). Really surprised by how short and how little the book covered food from sea, felt like missed opportunities? Surely there's more fun facts suitable for this book? Nonetheless, the illustrations are as usual, very pleasing.

Finished the equivalent of ch. 2 (12 sections in total). I'm like so confused, the book briefly talked about beef, chicken, then lamb, but no pork? It then went on covering sausages, but it's not the same as... you know, just doing pork in general. Went checking the index and I don't think it's placed elsewhere? A bit odd imo.

Not sure if it's also like this in the original edition, or that this translated one botched it up, but some text on darker color is less legible. Not too horrible or anything, but a lighter text color felt like a given. The illustrations are decent.
