And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, I'm hit with heartbreaking family dramas and someone who decides not to mention the las-round that has gone through his abdomen.

For a split second I had hope for a small happy ending for at least a few characters, which was incredibly stupid, because in the grimdark future there is no fucking hope and of course this only hope has to be butchered in the worst fucking way.

Yeah… let me follow a character through 12 books, let me watch them grow up and develop, let me get attached and then rip my heart out within the first 100 pages.
