The flow of this book is so weird. There's some relationship stuff going on here that's concerning. If everybody is so close - family, why hide things? :/ I really like the premise of this book but certain things like flow and plot weirdness (and non sequitur sentences plopped in the middle of unrelated paragraphs) could have been addressed by some beta readers. Still haven't gotten to the main conflict yet either.
