idk what to rate this rn

two stars seems high

this was so fucking boring
and so forgettable

maybe i’ll forget even more and go into book two with a more open mind

so i’ll prob read book two , three and four

thank gods this entire series isnt with this melissa fmc

books three and four with her daughter on the ice planet seems more intriguing than the others
i likely won’t read past that

all their stories sound the fucking same

yawn

i’m mostly just annoyed with the cliffhangers

bc now i need to read the next book

although
i’m hoping it’ll be much easier to skim read from now on

and i’m about to read the blurbs for the rest of this series

i’m predicting the copper prince guy is the father of the baby

or *gasp*
possibly a secret seventh missing husband is the father??

i’d honestly rather read one of those raunchy repetitive mail order bride books rn than this dramatic space opera

^and maybe the mmcs will miss the sweet version of herself that outwardly cared for them

or

she gets her memories back
the new her “dies”
but those new memories and feelings eventually return or merge with her old self

and the new new her is a blend of both

which is a not often used but nonetheless tiresome trope i could care less about

i also hope the general mother isnt a raging bitch too

ive def read this type of plot before

and i have more predictions - that i also hope isnt accurate

where… the fmc rn is sweet and loving, easily the better version of herself, but she and everyone wants the old her bc she was a badass and very important

i hope she never gets her memories back but that’s unlikely

i think she will and she’ll be back to being a bitch

and there’s slme protocol they keep mentioning

i’m making a guess it’s some kind of guideline or safeguard bc of the mind wipe

maybe things that trigger memories is what is hurting the fmc
so they have to follow a protocol that’ll ease her into remembering again idk

depressing as shit introduction to this story and it’s mc

i’m hoping chapter two is starting off and moving the plot along at a faster pace now
