Status Updates From Take Me, I'm Yours

I am really struggling with this - Logan appears and quite knowingly, frightens India. He is threatening and abusive to her and there is NO excuse for anyone behaving like that. And first impressions tend to stick with a person. There is not a cat in hells chance I'd be comfortable around a man who scared me like Logan did.

A bit better. I have to pretend it’s actually about the 1800s since the characters act like those in a regency romance: invasion of space in a non-consensual, sexist way—though, the main character seems to welcome it. Also, the main guy is planning to work in DC to “drain the swamp”? Is this meant to be an insult to him? Or, the general politics of the characters? Guessing it’s the former, but still.

Other books by this author have been cute. This one is not good so far. This may be a DNF.

Brilliant, brilliant, briliant Lizzie Lamb......what an incredibly satisfying romance you have written. Although not set in Scotland there is plenty of Scottish references in your book. Lotte Sutton loved your book so very much.
