Uggh, this is an older book and still, the FMC is an utter moron! They tell her she's going to be thrown into a room with a dude who is feral from his heat. He comes and starts ripping her clothes off and she says "Please, don't hurt me. I'm Nara Barns from earth" and when he doesn't respond, because ya know FERAL, she says "Stop it!" JFC, I guess I've officially read all the books I'm going to enjoy in this life.
