Status Updates From The Descendants: Books 1-3

Enjoying this series. It does read a lot like the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness. It’s kind of like reading the same story over again. But it’s still good! Lots of action.

Oh, I have tried with this book. And after reading the great reviews I then tried harder but just don't get it.

Is it the poor writing? Maybe.
The flat characters? Possibly.
The slow story with weird plot holes.

I will continue to try. I am no quitter, but this might be a return to the shelve only half finished.
