Wait honestly this takes the cake for being the most boring and tedious to read book I have ever read in my entire life. If this wasn’t for my class it wouldn’t even be within twenty feet of me because you can immediately tell how boring this book is after skimming through three pages

I have such conflicting feelings on this book. I really wonder how I would feel about it had I not read it in middle school. It’s always stuck with me in a kind of negative way, and honestly re-reading it just refreshed what that feeling is. It’s powerful and moving and deeply upsetting. Its beautifully written and it’s GOOD but like it also makes my stomach hurt
