Chapter 3: I thought the new Lord Crampton had already paid her a visit at the end of Chapter 1. Then how come it was narrated in this chapter that it seemed like he called on her for the first time?

Chapter 2: A chaperone for the chaperone, seems too redundant, don't you think? And a waste of money, too, in my opinion. Maybe I just don't understand how the minds of the aristocrats of the Regency England worked.
