Loving the back and forth between Julia Lachlan. The tension is building.

My favourite couple Cyn and Raphael have appeared. Yippee! I am happy.

This is my second time reading this book. I am surprised that I am enjoying it. The build up to the story is good. I can feel the tension between the two main characters. I like the fact that Lachlan is coming across as uncouth and Julia cool as a cucumber. Can’t wait until they drop the act.

It's a good thing Lachlan doesn't use a lot of Scottish words and accent, only the "ye" and "yer".

Just finished reading Chapter 8 on my lunch break. Very hot stuff to be reading at work! Lachlan and Julia are a great couple.

By the time she had finished with the soap and was using the handheld nozzle to wash away the foam, he was hard as a fucking rock. Taking the handheld from her, he slipped it into the bracket, then looped an arm around her waist and lifted her up for a hungry kiss. “Julia thought you were a terrorist,” she confided, shifting his attention. But only for a moment. He swung his gaze back to Julia, one eyebrow raised in question. “You have to admit, you do make an entrance,” Julia accused. “So does fucking Prince Charlie, but you wouldn’t call him a terrorist.”“You’re not exactly a prince,” she said, fighting a smile. “You don’t think so?” he argued, finding himself intrigued.

Keeping his tone the same, he said, “Ms. Harper.”“Julia,” she supplied, as she slid her fingers out of his grasp. Lachlan’s own distrustful nature had him following her hand, and so he noted the quick glance she gave her palm, as if seeking a logical reason for that moment of sizzling heat. When she caught him watching, she brushed invisible crumbs from her skirt instead. He bared his teeth and met her gaze.

Just finished this book and loved it.💖. I loved Lachlan and Julia's story. Can't wait for more.
