(1) I will say, that as much as I'm not a fan of Eduardo Risso's art in general, it does really work for this series.
(2) A highlight of this book is when the villain called in a favor from a politician who may or may not be Justin Trudeau.
- The guy's always in silhouette and the bio's fictionalized enough to cast doubt, but the implication's definitely intentional.

(1) So, Lemire didn't disappoint with making this book one big neon light flashing "Canada" nonstop.
- Given, it's set in Canada, but Lemire's gone all-out with the tri-lingual street signs and plastering the word "Canada" on the sides of things.
- He's even got the villain wearing a Hockey Canada hat.
(2) Murder and cursing seems to be what this series is all aboot.

- Because Jeff Lemire is one of those Canadian authors who needs to shoehorn Canada into everything he does.
(2) My only hope is that he has enough artistic pride that he won't just make this a plotless gorefest, like Millar did with the first volume.
