God doesn't clean us up all at once. Freedom is not a destination; it is a journey.

The only thing we can give God besides our praise is our brokenness - that which holds us back from being fully identified in Him.

Sometimes we define freedom by what we're not doing. We say "I don't do this or that" & then look down on others who do those things.This can lead to what some call the gospel of sin management, which is about behavioral change & making sure we are all just good people. In the gospel of sin management, we measure ourselves by ourselves & compare ourselves with ourselves to assure ourselves that we are behaving well.

The kingdom of God is not a throw-away culture. Jesus makes all things new. He takes broken people and puts us back together again so that we can live as God intends. The covenant blessing of God for his people is his promise of shalom - of wholeness and every area of our lives.

"Forgiveness, and that which goes with it, destroys victimhood. It makes you the opposite of a victim. Forgiveness makes you an overcomer who is in control of every situation that comes your way."

"PTSD is not a mental illness; it is a psychological injury."

I have never heard PTSD being described this way.

I am reminded of the power of the name of Jesus.

The healthiest hearts are not found in those who have no problems but those who have found their hearts true home ind. we come to understand that Jesus cares as much about our soul & the health of our soul as He does about our spirit and our body."

"Mental trauma is an injury to the soul of a person. No action by another person can heal an injury to your soul. Therapy and medication can help, but but only God can take the broken pieces of your mind, will, and emotions and put them back together."

"I invite God's holy angels to come around your bed in your bedroom so that your bed is a place of rest and peace, not warfare, in the name of Jesus."

"I speak to your sleep and say according to Proverbs 3:24 you shall no longer lie down in fear, that is is your Father's pleasure to give His beloved children sweet sleep. I command a resetting of the sleep center in your brain to experience six to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep every night. I command all nightmares to go, all night tremors to go, all night sweats to go, in Jesus' name."

Prayer example:
"I speak to your immune system and command it to come into alignment with God's will for your body, to act as your physical defense system against all harmful organisms all the days of your life."

Prayer example:
"I speak to your musculoskeletal system consisting of your muscles, bones, cartilage, and ligaments and declare every memory from a traumatic event be released now from muscles and other areas so that all pain associated with accidents and ungodly touch between humans is removed and replaced by the peace and shalom of God."

Prayer example:
"I command the endocrine system consisting of your network of glands that release and regulate your hormones be set back to its original settings so that all glands operate properly with the right flow of hormones, in the name of Jesus."

Prayer:
"I command any masking of trauma that looks like mental illness that was really caused by trauma to be healed, in the name of Jesus. I declare healthy functions and connections to be restored between the right and left lobe of your brain. I declare the right lobe be completely restored and healed right now by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father."

"...I pray for fresh faith and the truth of the word of God to replace those lies and images and memories. I command the memory center to wake up, wake up, wake up! Let there be a free flow of memory from the memory center so that what is restored to you are good memories about your life. Your mind is no longer held hijacked by traumatic images and memories."
