The plot is interesting but the dialogue phrasing is awkward and jarring. I think the problem is that I’ve been reading a lot of really well written novels lately, so anything that feels “off” is more apparent than it might be had I not read in awhile.

Okay, heading into the homestretch! Our fearless heroine is looking for a nonmag (non magic-user) named Scott Johnson who has been hidden by the baddies. She’s convinced he’s living under an anagram of his real name or one that rhymes. With the amount of respect and maturity the bad guy in charge has shown nonmags, I’m expecting him to turn up as Snot Shlongson.

Oh poopbiscuits this book is nearly over! Tanya and Elle are just too cute together and I want to see where their relationship goes...but wait! There is a sequel!
