Cute book. I like how well they care for their animals and how fond of them they are. Nice intro to life on the frontier. It’s crazy that people use to put ads in the newspaper to find marriage partners. It also took over a month to travel because it was by wagon

Apparently there is a movie of this which I may have to watch. I completely forgot about this book. A teacher read this to us when I was younger. I got the book after because I liked it so much. It’s so short I typically don’t read books this short
