Made a pasta sauce I was finding a bit middling but then remembered Samrin’s advice about tasting and considering what it’s missing. A little salt and pow, suddenly we’re feasting. Especially since this is a recipe I totally winged, which asked for 1.5 cups of wine and I uh. Didn’t have wine. We agreed it’s “a little unusual but good!” And you know what. Not the worst review I could get.
