I totally didn't see that coming...

this is a pretty decent shifter story. But, part of me is over the whole "he's my mate but I don't want him/that in my life so I'm going to do everything I can to get rid of him" thing. Just once, I'd like a shifter story where someone finds their mate and just goes with it. To me that's what makes a romantic and exciting shifter romance story. Maybe it's just me...

Huh, ok, I didn’t see that. Not shocking but the fact I guessed most everything else, this was interesting 😊

Intrigued and bored. It’s a good quality because it means I’ll finish this and most def pick up the next in the series when it comes out. There’s a lot of potential as this reads very fresh faced and just learning :)

Jarring scene jumps with recaps, it’s very very tell

I’m confused. It really happened? It was a dream.
The book scene jumps in the most jarring way and therefore when it needs to be jarring it comes across as normal which is confusing in a way the author isn’t intending, oh yes confused, wonder, interest, you can tell that what we need to feel but it’s not what I’m feeling, because it’s meant to be abnormal when in fact it just feels normal ...

I’m not really enjoying the writing, I’m finding it very.... clipped tho that’s not really it either. It’s not short sentence or anything that would make it that way but honestly it’s the only way I feel I can discribe it
