It just gets worse.. No, there is nowhere in San Diego that is close to Beverly Hills, and you CANNOT see the Hollywood sign from anywhere in San Diego.. Pools did not have spas in 1950 not was traffic so bad it would take an hour to drive through downtown San Diego..

Oh my gosh.. The author didn't even do basic research.. For example, in 1932 there were no satellites, air conditioning.. In 1950 there was no caller ID, cell phones, memory foam queen beds, 24 hour news stations or police helicopters..
