and honestly hoping itll be darker
for this couple at least

i hope the blurb i read for book two is actually true
and not the bullshit this book kept skirting around

one star and might add to my utter shit shelf later
for this shitty fmc and love story

i refuse to believe this was a romance.

that ending was absolute bullshit and not lovely or cute at all

everything feels forced

the fmc was mediocre as an fmc but then maybe halfway started annoying the shit out of me

that semi conclusion was so fucking forced

i kept waiting for something worthwhile to happen
the fmc getting abducted and tortured
hopefully

ugh

i started this sometime yesterday or last night
tried and failed to rush through it

what a slow read

there’s just something off about this writing style
its not inherently shit
but its clearly nothing amazing or close to it either
