Status Updates From O Talismã (O Talisman #1)

Mmkay things are still interesting despite opening more questions than answers.... I do wish more time is spent in the territories instead of the 'normal' world- but i understand what the authors are trying to convey... that this world is actually the one full of horrors.

Meanwhile, there are parts in the book that just felt... mismatched. I guess this time the 2 authors weren't really insync yet...

2/3 of the book now... im still trying to be patient but so many questions and soft logic

Okay but why torture Jack if Gardener can flip???

No explanation on the mechanics of flipping yet... but I can guess that in a 12yo kid's world, it is as easy as "daydreaming"

"Why, they’re gargoyles! [...] Did somebody see them here? Somebody from the Middle Ages who flipped over, saw this place, and thought he’d had a vision of hell?"

Yeah, why not? I'm a cynic, an atheist- I refuse to believe in fantasy stuff, because I live in such a mundane world - if there is a magical world out there, would these creatures be so difficult to explain then?
