It's weird how this is so all over the place at times. For the most part, it's a light and rich fantasy story with a nice pace, fantastical and diverse characters, high magic and a dose of 'wenching' without totally degrading the persons involved.
Then there's the rape, murder, slavery and abuse by truly despicable characters mostly at the address of Lijena . It's hard to pick this up not knowing where it'll go.

I might continue it, I know it get's lighter further on, but this is no fun.
