I woke up in the middle of the night with possible events happening further in the book but were creepier as a dream. It was not fun at all!

This sh*t is getting intense! It's literally 2 a.m. here and I'm reading this tense book listening to creepy forest Harry Potter-themed ASMR on youtube and being a little scared of turning the lights off.

I'll finish this tonight!

Things are going crazy already!

Hopefully I'll finish this today and write a review for it.

I have to finish this arc by tomorrow, sooo....

I expected something more futuristic, but this book really makes me think!

Seriously WTF, like now he's making light of eating disorders? "I made myself throw up but don't worry I know about bulimia I'm not bulimic I just binge ate too much and want to be skinny again for my imaginary boyfriend even though I'm the only person left. I'm not like that girl in my school who stopped eating and got super skinny and almost died (although maybe I'll try that too)!"*

I think it's kind of gross that a male author is writing a teen girl voice and she is *constantly* calling herself "lardy" and "chubby" and how saying how she needs to lose weight and I'm quite sure that a teen girl who has just lived through a devastating infection that killed a mega shitload of people including just about her entire family is not going to be sitting around talking to herself about being fat.

Not loving it so far. I don't like Kerryl's narrative voice or style. She's too teenagery to be good reading. It's more like an actual teen diary, like something I would have written at that age, but I don't like reading actual diaries. Meg Ellison did diaries well. This one is not as compelling.
