This was given to me today by my Ashtanga teacher. I'm not sure if she wants it returned or not so I'm reading it quickly.
The introduction pages were very interesting but it does seem that Jois is trying to sell the idea of yoga in the style of a self-help book.
Name dropping, miracle promising, and the like.
Still I trust my teacher enough to continue to the end...
