First book in the box set is Scared To Death. Found it quite slow and wasn’t sure about finding out who the killer is so early in the story, I like to be kept guessing with a police procedural. I know these kinds of books tend to follow a formula, so I will see how the second book goes.

Finished the first book in the set. Really good -- action, tension, characters that are both believable and likable. The three-book set was a 99-cent Amazon special, and so far, it's well worth the price. I'm looking forward to the next two.
