So I just woke up on a sleep deprived Thursday and I really really really wanted to re-read these books. I stopped reading up to book 4 and I have the rest of the books in my Kindle that I brought ages ago, but never got around to reading. I’m going to change this right now by re reading these books. I’m so excited!

Why am I still reading this booooook

“You look good, Ryan.” “I’m fat.” “You have a family now.” “I got fat almost immediately after my last baseball season. But you should see my brothers. Now those are some fat fucks.”

Why am I still reading this book?

Isn’t that what you tell Ryan every time we play tennis and he has to take a break because he’s gasping for air?” “He’s a fat fuck.” “He has asthma.” “That’s an excuse. I don’t buy it.”

Is this going somewhere or is this just going to happen the whole book?

“They fit perfectly.” “Around the waist. But what about around your legs? They were made for an obese person!” Mark called anyone with a round belly ‘obese’. “End of conversation. Either use the stuff I got you or get your own. You aren’t wearing those to my gym again. You’re embarrassing me.”

Ryan was not enthused. “I’m too slow for this.” “Then lose some weight, fat ass!” Mark taunted.

“This looks nice,” I said.
“The people are all fat.” Mark was very quick to judge based on weight. When he said this gym was a dump, he meant it wasn’t full of beautiful, muscled creatures like himself and the others at his gym.

All kinds of funny at this point. I know I’ve invested myself into quite a task as I bought all nine novels in the series at once. So far I’m enjoying to get to know Chris and Mark. The pacing is very slow, as it would be irl, which suits well as this is autobiography.
