Status Updates From First Moon (Lovin' the Cove...

DNF’ing. About 25% in. I can’t connect with characters at all. mFC is annoying to me. I don’t know if it’s the writing or the narration

And already regretting coming back to read this

At this point
I’m just going to read the blurbs for each book
And then the first and last pages for them too

No way am I forcing more of this shit

- rereading the complete series & barely made it 8% of the way through it was so shitty & horrid to read
- DNF then bc I could feel the stress mounting
- went back to rant on the first book & rerate it from 3 to 1 star
- except I mistakingly ranted on the second
- 🤷🏻‍♀️
- still shitty & I’m still annoyed
- it’s like the author smeared shit on her fingers & wrote/typed this story 💩

Me reading 4 books at once

There IS good, somewhat witty banter in this, but the dialogue is so fast that it's almost hard to follow. It reminds me of the rapid dialogue pace in Gilmore Girls, but I kinda mean that in both a good and bad way.

I am liking it, but overall not sure how I feel about this book yet

Okay love, you can't just spontaneously combust a guy for being a grade A arsehole like it's not a big deal... seriously, if I wasn't going out of my mind in UK Lockdown 3.0 this would be a DNF right here.

This book is weird and awkward

Murder mystery. RH aspect aside, pretty typical witch mystery story. Could use more world building. Overall okay, but nothing amazing.
