NOPE. Nope. nope. nope. I'm going to murder Eli. What an asshole. Nope.

The MC is both very young and comes across as very young. Frankly Eli is also just as annoying. I hate it when MC's are all "I heard you say "go away" but you don't actually mean it, so I'm still here anyway." UGH, that drives me up the wall. Regardless of Ari's feelings, he's already told you to go go away and yet you're still here.

// I'm doing Ari's signature move and I'm rolling MY eyes now >:-o!! Who's to say Ari won't be obnoxious again?!? I don't trust him ... not one bit!! Also, what an entitled little shit ... after all his theatrics, HE expects Eli to come to HIM?!!? I wish Eli just told Ari to fuck off and disappear!!!!!

// The fact that he says "Shibari shit" ... that's like a spit in the face of someone who loves it! I am angry at this author for creating a nasty character who destroyed this book, and for punishing an absolutely magnificent MC like Eli by pairing him with someone obnoxious and undeserving like Ari!! I want Eli to be with someone else!! I am pissed this author created the MC in Ari that she did! destroyed the book!!

Also, Ari has the gall and the absurdity to compare what HE did to what Eli felt was imperative to omit?!!? SERIOUSLY?!!? I am so pissed off right now I cannot explain it!! I also cannot stand Ari! He doesn't deserve Eli! NOPE!!

// It's like watching an expert interviewer [the author] interview a really obnoxious individual [Ari]! You can't blame the interviewer for how obnoxious the interviewee is!! So yeah, my disappointment has nothing to do with the writing! I just wish Ari were more likeable because at this point I definitely do not think he deserves Eli!!! Not at all!!

// And the way he scoffs at and disrespects other peoples' relationships, especially his best friends!! No wonder Ari has no friends, he's fucking judgemental as hell, and he's an obnoxious immature brat >:-o!!!!

// Also, it irritates me that Ari is so sensitive to what other people say about him. yet he doesn't think twice about what he says to or about other people!! Again, the book as a whole and the writing are SUPERB, but Ari is just not a person I like at the moment! It has nothing to do with the book, but since Ari is the way he is and it's HIS story, I'm having trouble being sympathetic to him!! I just dislike him!!

// Ari has a lot of growing and maturing up to do before he deserves Eli!! Ari keeps lashing out at Eli every time he has insecurities and he really needs to deal with them, he needs to deal with HIMSELF, before he can be with and deserve to be with Eli!!

// Frankly, I am skimming at this point!! I ADORE this author's writing, but Ari just irritates the crap out of me!! I think Ari has a lot of growing up to do and it has nothing to do with his age; let's not insult all the MATURE 20-year-olds in the world!! But Ari has a lot of issues that have absolutely NOTHING to do with Eli, and I think Ari needs to go on a 2 year meditation retreat to learn about himself!!

// It's very clear you want the same things Eli wants to share with you! Very much so!!!

// Frankly, Ari, you don't know WHAT you want!! Also, as far as sex goes, you only had it twice, you're not entirely sure WHAT you like yet!! You're so busy fighting to prove you're a grown adult, that you're not letting yourself just LIVE AND BE, you're not allowing yourself to discover who you are!!! Besides, the kind of discipline Eli would give you as a Dom, differs greatly from any other kind of discipline!

// Eli, don't you DARE deny who you are or what you want or what you crave, just because you want to be with someone! If they don't want or cannot accept what YOU crave, then it means you're not well suited to be together! You can want to be with him, but NOT at the cost of who you are & what you crave, and if that's the case, you need to re-evaluate being with him! Besides, I think he really REALLY DOES want it!!!!!

I know he doesn't mean to be so callous, but the way he talks about how Seth and Baker play, irritates me!! There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with their sexual preference lifestyle [BDSM]!! If it's not your thing, it's not your thing, but do NOT name Eli feel like what he wants is wrong!! I KNOW that's not Ari's intent, but he needs to be MUCH more sensitive with Eli AND the guys!! Besides, Ari REALLY wants it too!!

// I feel so bad for Eli :-/!!! He would never ask Ari to stop being himself, and Ari, in this obliviousness, is essentially expecting Eli to stop being HIMSELF!! I get that Ari has absolutely ZERO idea, but still, he should, he SHOULD know!! I feel like if he stopped being so focused on things that he didn't need to be focused on, he'd know!! He really needs to open his eyes and SEE Eli!!!

// I'm pissed off at Ari again >:-o!! I don't get how he can be so self absorbed that he doesn't realize for someone who's so insecure about where HE fits in the world and want HE wants sexually, he doesn't consider that Eli might also have his own secrets or uncertainties in terms of revealing what HE likes!! I hate that as insecure as HE is, he's as callous as he is to Eli's sexual desires!! Snap out of it!!

// FINALLY, some communication :-D, and Ari was the one who instigated it :-D!! I am ADORING what Ari just said and how he opened up to Eli! Baby steps, but we're getting there!!
