The story is building up.
Don't quite understand the sudden change of character when El decided to join the Divalicious. There's only one sentence that says she was jealous of them during the 'freshie' tour. And don't quite see the relevance (yet?), unless to have encouter with Zed, which I think can be done other way. Too early to tell
Don't think a 9 year old use sophisticated words. Unless she's a pure genius.
