Status Updates From Het grote bomenboek

Got myself this "little" treat at the Naturalis giftshop. It won't fit in my bookcase, but that's a problem for future me. I'm halfway through and I love it: the gorgeous illustrations, the fun facts, and the way it doesn't just teach me about trees, but history, culture, and tree folklore as well.

obsessed with norwegian stave churches and their organically resined pine pillars, reused ship hull ceilings, handmade shingles, stone foundations, death stench from all the rich people buried underneath them and all the narrow doors (so only 1 person could pass at a time and no one would bring the devil in) not to mention the 3d puzzle structure of it!!!!
